A 2022-es moszkvai világbajnokságot elhalasztják

A Nemzetközi Sportlövő Szövetség (ISSF) végrehajtó bizottsága úgy döntött, hogy a WADA és a CAS korábbi határozatai miatt a 2022. augusztus 13-30-ra tervezett moszkvai teljes programú világbajnokságot elhalasztja, arra 2023-ban fog sor kerülni. A 2023-ra tervezett különálló pisztolyos-puskás, valamint koronglövő vb-ket pedig 2022-ben fogják megrendezni, Oroszországon kívül.

The ISSF World Championship All Events will be held in 2023

Today the ISSF Executive Committee unanimously took the decisions to move (i) the ISSF World Championship All Events in Russia from August 2022 to 2023 and (ii)  the separate ISSF World Championships in Rifle/Pistole and Shotgun originally scheduled to take place in 2023 to 2022 (which would both take place outside of Russia).

This decision was taken in view of the obligations established by the CAS Award 2020/O/6689 «WADA vs. RUSADA» with the aim to support WADA with the enforcement of this CAS Award. At the same time the decision safeguards the possibility for all our athletes as well as the Member Federations to win medals and quota places for Paris 2024 Olympic Games at all 2022-2023 ISSF World Championships.
